United Water (a Veolia Water subsidiary) operates and maintains seven small water treatment plants, four small wastewater treatment plants and stormwater networks in Queenstown, a popular holiday and tourist destination in New Zealand's South Island.
The contract, the company's first in New Zealand's South Island, serves a population of 24,000.
