Based on the principle of merit, the Veolia Water recruitment process ensures the best person is chosen for the job. Employees are selected on the basis of whether their skills, qualifications, experience and talent are suitable for the role.
Veolia Water proudly comply with all relevant statutory requirements, including all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) legislation.
The Veolia Water recruitment process occurs in eight stages:
Stage one: Online application
The first step requires you to fill out an online application form. At this stage, you will be required to:
- provide details, including your name and email address
- complete a profile assessment
- attach your resume.
Please note these steps are all compulsory and essential for your consideration.
You are not required to provide details relating to your age or gender. However, if you choose to disclose these, they will not be treated as part of your application but will be used for EEO compliance measures only.
Once your application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.
You can access the online application form here.
Stage two: Application review
The Human Resources (HR) team will review all applications and compile a shortlist of candidates.
At this stage, both short-listed and non short-listed candidates will receive a confirmation email.
Stage three: Telephone interview
Short-listed candidates are required to complete a preliminary telephone interview to both validate information on your application and determine your communication skills.
If you are unsuccessful at this stage, you will be notified by email.
Stage four: First round interview
Remaining candidates will be invited to attend an interview with the reporting manager and HR representative. You should bring any evidence of qualifications, tickets or licences for the role (including trade certificates and/or first aid certificates) to the interview.
If you are unsuccessful at this stage, you will be notified by email.
Stage five: Second round interview
Successful candidates will be required to attend a second interview with a senior manager and/or a member of the executive management team.
If you unsuccessful at this stage, you will be notified by email.
Stage six: Reference check and pre-employment medical check
Reference checks will be conducted on final short-listed candidates to confirm factual information regarding previous work history, qualifications and achievements.
Occupational health and safety is a priority at Veolia Water. Prior to making the final selection and in conjunction with reference checks, candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical check to ensure they are fit to work in the role.
If you unsuccessful at this stage, you will be notified by email.
Stage seven: Offer of employment
The successful candidate will be presented with a verbal offer of employment by Veolia Water.
